Duration seemed a bit long for the level of activity perceived at the time of appointment. Waiting area offered the perfect amenities for me to be comfortable and conduct business. The ability to manage the SRN audio would have been appreciated so that the TV audio did not have to be elevated. It all added up to a higher level of background noise for those not interested in hearing it. I would appreciate that the final invoice be sent to me as well.

I went to Swickard Chevrolet of Thousand Oaks to get my battery replaced. All the employees there were great, they were helpful and pleasant to work with. I chose to wait at the dealership which had a customer lounge that was extremely comfortable and provided something to drink and snack on. Everyone who walked through the lounge said hello and was smiling, very friendly people working there. Overall, the experience was great.

You could plainly see that the service tech either hated his job or was just not interested in the level of customer service and professionalism that he should have shown my husband and me. If there was another Chevy dealer close by, I would never take my car there again.

I came into the dealership because of a clanking noise that comes from the engine if i happen to shift from gear 1 to 2, at 1.5 rpm or below, especially when going up hill. It has been with the car from when I bought it. At Swickard chevrolet, the team was very polite, very patient, and they took the time to understand my issue. I dropped off the car, was given a courtesy ride to my place. After a few hours, I got a call from the dealership that my car was ready. Another courtesy ride took me back to the dealership. Upon arrival, I was told that the car had been taken out for a drive to determine the issue and that everything had been found to be just fine. It was explained that the noise is just the result of gear shifting at a lower than normal rpm and that it is normal. The manager of the service department even took time from his very busy schedule to go for a test drive with me. He directed me to a steep hill, where I proceeded to shift at a lower rpm so that he could hear the noise I was talking about. He did hear. But once again, he assured me that there was nothing to worry about.

It was awful. I got a call at 8:30 am from my service advisor letting me know that the oil change was done and they found a nail in my tire and if it was okay to patch it for $40. I said yes. She said the car would be ready soon. I had my husband drop me off an hour later knowing the car would be done soon. I checked in with another service advisor as mine was busy and they said it was not done yet but they’d let my advisor know I was waiting in the lobby so my car would be a priority. They never told her and I waited in the lobby for almost 4 hours for them to patch a tire. Crazy! After about 3 hours of waiting, I went to check in again on how long and my advisor said “you’re here waiting, no one told me. Your car hasn’t been worked on yet. I’ll see what they can do. Give us 15-20 minutes, it doesn’t take that long to patch a flat.” LIKE WHAT?! Why wasn’t this done when I gave my approval at 8:30 am? Why take my car out of the bay and move another in when I gave my approval? She said flat tires aren’t a priority. It was an awful experience, I felt like they didn’t care at all.

At 9:00am I dropped my Silverado an oil change, as per my Chevy Silverado light on the dash. I told the tech I would wait in the showroom sitting area. At 10:30, I called Service dept, asked about my Silverado, he said they were behind schedule, would be done soon. At 12:00pm I went to the service dept, asked for my truck. The tech at the desk, said do you see it in the lot. I finally found it parked in the front of the service lot. The tech found the keys sitting at another desk, I waited over 3 hours for a simple oil change. Very disappointed this level of service is terrible.

I can’t believe you’re asking for my experience. All was fine until I got my diagnostic report saying I needed all the filters replaced. Hilarious considering I had it done on my last oil change. When I called and asked about it. Not one return phone call. And not just once did I call. But 5-6 times I called. And nobody will call me back. My guess is the work I paid for the first time was never done. Horrible customer experience. Now I need co contact Chevrolet.

Scheduled the appointment in advance with a full description of what needed to be done. Day of the service, staff wanted the freedom to keep the vehicle over the weekend if the work didn't get done. My wife needed the vehicle Saturday. So all the staff did was the oil change and tire rotation. Not the tire monitor service, the air bag monitor service or the A/C check/recharge. Why have advanced scheduling if you're going to treat everyone like a walk-in?

The price of a oil change gone up drastically in the last 2 years. It is outrageous. Then the service advisor told me after their inspection that they highly recommend I change my engine air filter and cabin air filter for a stupid amount of money. I replaced these myself 2 months ago. I'm very upset with prices and that they tried to scam me to replace filters unnecessarily.

I brought my new 2025 Tahoe Premier in after noticing water intrusion coming from the third row window area. Keir (service manager) went above and beyond to put me into a loaner vehicle while my car was being serviced. Edin (my service advisor) maintained great communication with updates on parts, timing, and returning my vehicle back to me. Thankfully, the water intrusion did get resolved. Unfortunately, during the window removal / installation or during the headliner installation, a tech caused a dent (almost an inch) in the white panel next to the window.

Came in on Monday 07/14/25 because my two front speakers were blown. Took all day for them to do a frequency sweep test and confirm what I already knew. So they ordered the parts. Edin Lopez (my service advisor) said that his service tech informed him that the speakers would arrive in one day. So we scheduled an appointment for Thursday 07/17/25 (3 days later) to swap the speakers out. They took the car on Thursday 07/17/25 and kept it all day, only to find out that the speakers were back ordered and not even there. I asked Edin to provide documentation explaining what happened today (07/17/25) for my records. He said there was no way of doing that. Therefore, no compensation of any kind can be given to me for wasting my time or for the inconvenience. No service credit or even documentation at the very least. So this is my way of documenting what happened today. This may not even be Edin’s fault because he said that his service tech misinformed him about the parts delivery date. But this isn’t my fault as a customer either. Time is money, and mine was wasted. I’ll update this review once the work is done.

I brought my car in Monday to get looked at bc I had some concerns I wanted addressed before my warranty expired. I was on vacation with my kids Edin Lopez was helping me and told me my warranty was already expired and I explained it wasn’t, I had to drive to Landrover where I bought the car to get the warranty paper and bring it back. Tuesday Edin calls me and tells me what is wrong with my suburban and that the warranty will cover it and if I wanted a rental car I needed to call and get one and I said no that’s your job, I’m on vacation with my 5 kids and had no car the whole week. Wednesday comes and Edin calls me around 12 and tells me the parts came in and he would call me later with an update I mentioned again to have the seat belt looked at also bc it wouldn’t retract. He never calls me and Thursday comes and now I get email about my parts being ordered and still no call. I call at 12 and leave a message and finally at 2 I call and ask to talk to the service manager Keir bc I needed answers and I needed to leave for home which is in Nevada on Friday. Keir looked into all of it for me and called me back within 40 mins He said my car would be done by Friday and they were waiting for the seatbelt. He offered to get me a rental car for the night but I said no bc it wasn’t worth it at that point since I was getting my car and leaving Friday. Edin calls me Thursday afternoon after I speak to Keir and leaves me a vm stating how he had called me and left messages and I never responded and gave me his personal cell to contact him at if I had any questions and was willing to get me a car. I never called him back bc how he handled the whole situation was awful and I mentioned to Keir I only wanted to deal with him.

The guys working in the maintenance department weren’t welcoming at all. You walk in expecting at least a “hello” or a “be with you in a moment” if they were busy, but this wasn’t the case. You walk in and are ignored. I sat there kinda lost (first time there) so no clue which guy to check in with. Waited for a bit until someone decided to see what I needed. Then when they call you back to pick up your car they are also very rude. They just see you walk in and not say a word. Wasn’t able to get the name but I do remember he was a bald. Seems like he hates working there. Not a word to the customer. Very unprofessional. On his phone texting all while I’m there just waiting to see what’s next since he doesn’t talk. Hands a paper and says sign and that’s it no futher words. Definitely won’t be coming back and will be telling everyone not to schedule maintenance here. My one star review was the only option since zero stars isn’t an option. The owner should really look into this department. Will definitely never come back.

Customer brings 2002 Vette to Swickard on Tuesday 10/14. Requested services: (a) replace battery, (b) adjust hand brake, (c) replace brake fluid, (d) fix power windows. Also, provide estimates for the following: (e) steering column lock not functional, and (f) traction control / ABS module sometimes non-functional. After keeping the car for 6 days, Service Advisor Jake calls customer on Monday 10/20 and talks customer into additional work (stabilizer bar bushings). Customer ok's the additional work and Jake promises all work will be completed by Wednesday 10/22. This is the last I heard from Swickard about the status of the car despite repeated phone calls to Jake's direct line and repeated calls through the Swickard switchboard requesting the Service Dept., and Service Manager Keir Sole. Customer finally spoke with Service Advisor Irvin on Saturday 10/25 and got the car's status and learned that Jake was no longer employed with Swickard (and apparently no one was assigned as a replacement advisor). Service Advisor Keir was apparently out to lunch in this matter as well as the matter of returning the customer's calls. Irvin says customer will be given a discount for all the trouble Swickard caused him. The car was picked up on Monday 10/27. The stabilizer bar work was never done. The customer was charged to repair the power windows but they still don't work. Service Advisor Izzy was shown the problem. The driver's side sometimes works with the door open. Izzy was shown how the interior door panel bends out of shape as the window is raised. The passenger window is still totally non-functional. Izzy says he will inform Service Manager Keir Sole and he will be in touch with the customer. Apparently Keir is still out to lunch as he never called. Oh, and by the way, the discount Irvin talked out never materialized. The only thing positive about my experience with Swickard was shuttle driver Jose. All-in-all, my experience with Swickard was extremely distasteful. John Wartman

Everyone was great. Great atmosphere inside. I cannot say enough about how well Peter Bueschen presented himself and represented the dealership. I felt he was sincere and he did everything in his power to find me the truck I wanted. Even a last minute change didn’t phase him. He found another that was ultimately better than the one I was looking go. He then went and picked it up, gassed it up, and washed it while we were doing the financing. Quite a feat in Friday traffic. We joked about me wanting a big red bow on it early in our meeting. Leaving nothing to chance, Pete even put that bow on it, just in case I wasn’t kidding. We drove it home that night. It’s my job to notice small details. I’m good at it. I noticed a great team working together in sync I hope Chevy built it as well as they sold it….. Then it will truly be a “perfect” experience for me.

Above and beyond!! If I could give 10 stars, I would. I came in without an appointment because my tire pressure sensor came on even though I had filled them with air. They took me right away. They said one hour but it went longer. So they got me a shuttle right away so I could make it back home in time for my meeting. They called me when my car was ready but I was in another meeting. Finally finished at 4:15 but their shuttle service ends at 4. They had one of their service techs pick me up anyway!! I always receive great service coming here.

I reluctantly had to bring my car back to Swickard Chevrolet after the last time I was there and encountered the most unprofessional service advisors. Who were rude and condescending. This visit which started out great with Sebastian as my advisor. Sebastian informed me I would be hearing from him the next day regarding the issue with my ABS system. I called the next day November 11th at 12:56pm 3:01pm, 4:26pm and again at 4:59pm. I also stopped by the service department on my way home from work at 1:30pm to check the status of my car. I was informed that Sebastian was not at work and the young man said he would call me with an update and I left him my number. I NEVER received a call and each of the four times I called after o left I was told that no one is available to help me and a message would be sent to the service advisors and as well as the Service Manager. Needless to say I NEVER heard from one person! I eventually drove to the service department again at 5:30pm and asked for my car. To my surprise every person working was sitting in their butts doing absolutely NOTHING! I will NEVER bring my car to your service department again. I have family members who also own Chevy vehicles and they too have had horrendous experiences there. I used to enjoy bringing my car in and had great experiences but since Carmen left the turnover is unreal! As some one who is also in the service business it is very telling when you cannot retain staff. I am utterly disappointed with the service department and the dealership as whole, since the Manager couldn’t find the time to resolve the situation.

Terrible experience. Maintenance techs are clueless on addressing issues on a C8 corvette. So many issues after work was complete. How does a tech or service rep sign off on their work. The moment I started my car after service I had several new sounds coming from the car. When they pulled it up how could they not notice. Not to mention the check engine light was on. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I really hope a manager reaches out to me to go over the horrible experience I had. Should be a one star review, but the service rep, Eddie, was outstanding. Thanks for all the help Eddie!

I came in on 12/22 for an Oil change and tire rotation. The staff was attentive and friendly. I waited for my car and went to the lounge. The lounge was really comfortable with coffee and snacks. The free Wi-Fi was a big plus. After about two hours, I received a call from Eddie, who was working on my car. Let me know what I needed. Told me that my car was completed. Standard sales process. Sales agent was GREAT, even dropped off the car, no one at the dealership inspected the car properly. Now I cannot get onstar to work (which means I cannot get the navigation and cruise control to work) until the part that is back ordered comes in. Imagine buying a car and having to wait weeks for a part to come in. I text the sales guy, no response. Up until delivery he was great.

My service advisor took my car in at 9.30 am and said he would call me in the afternoon with an update on my vehicle, which would be ready that day. I called him at 4 pm as he hadn't called me. He didn't pick up so I left him a voicemail mail He didn't let me know what time the service department closed at 5.30 I got a call from a new person called Eddy who informed me that my car would be around 6 pm. He said my other service guy was busy. Eddy was nice, it was late for me to get that call. I had already started cooking dinner so i had to leave my car there overnight.
